Fleeting (2019)

Fleeting: Lasting for a very short time.

I often enjoy staying in one place and observing things that happen around me. When I sit back and watch one thing for a long time, I can notice the subtle changes in it even if the thing is likely to exist in the place forever. There are many times when I cannot see the exact same moment that I have just seen: The most memorable moment I thought that is perfect.

Perhaps, life is a collection of fleeting moments that cannot be kept forever. This paradoxical idea which fleeting moment can be an eternity is interesting to me, so I decide to talk about how I feel it.

I hope this series of photographs will give an opportunity to you to pause for a brisk breath and find a beauty of cherishing the ordinary moments: A color of the sunlight touching an empty wall, a movement of the drifting water, and the things that are quickly disappeared into the air. I also hope you can finally realize the collection of these fragments will make us complete.
